How to create angular 2/4/5/6 application with command prompt using visual studio code ?

Step1) Softwares need to install for angular 2

  install Node.js and npm. It is recommended that you have node version 4.6.x or greater and npm 3.x.x or greater

  For NodeJs ,Download from here https://nodejs.org/en/

  For Visval Studio, Download from here  https://code.visualstudio.com/download

 Note : If you want to check Node and Npm versions using command prompt
   

Step2) Install the Angular CLI using command prompt

        > npm install -g @angular/cli  -->  -g is for global installation


Step3) To create a New Angular 2 application using command prompt

        > ng new angular Sequelskills


     
        Note: Here Sequelskills is Application Name
              if you want to check Angular application version > ng -v


Step4) After Creating Project open in visual studio code

Step5) After opening visual studio code

       Click on File --> Click on Open Folder --> Goto Poject Created Location and select project click on ok



Step6) After open project in visual studio code you will get following project structure


Step7) To run the project In visual studio code Goto View option click on Integreated Terminal window

       In this Terminal window type F:\Sequelskills> npm start and Enter


Step8) To View the output goto browser and type  http://localhost:4200/ click on enter

       You will get following default angular application output
